So I pass this big Suburban on the road...
I'm coming back from the driving range, and I pass a big tan Chevy Suburban - got the American flag decal and the support the troops ribbon and everything. Guy driving looks at me, I look at him, done. Right?

Not quite, about a minute later he passes me. I pay him no mind, but I do sneak a peek to check for the mandatory "W" sticker.

As he moves back into my lane, I see his vanity plate.

It says:

"W LIED"

:) :)

6. wow!!
that's impressive......even more impressive than a sticker! It takes no time to slap a sticker on a car but to have it put on the plate takes some thought.

You should have stopped him just to shake his hand!!

It looks like the whole country is beginning to change direction....

8. May this be a sign of more to come. The worm
is turning!

And just because it gives me hope... kicked and recommended! I am feeling generous - not every day that Tom Delay gets a warrant for his arrest! Recommendations all around!!!!

But they do know this:

1) Don't mess with Texas
2) Gawd Bless America
3) Marriage needs savin'
4) Support our troops and our Prezadint

13. My sister
the now rueful Republican didn't know who he was. She does now and she is as outraged as any Democrat. I told her these guys were all crooks but now she believes me. What really helped? We live in CA and watching Arnold attack the California Nurses Association (her's) and mine (CSEA). Nothing like personal experience to teach a person fast.

22. MOST Americans in general don't know who the hell Delay is....
And I am not too sure they even know this Plame leak thing is going on. They just sort of watch local news and call it a day (if that)
At least that is what I am seeing for the most part.

15. That would be
Tomas de Lay or Thomas (pronounce the th) of Lay in Americun. Sounds like one of them foreigners or illeegal alians or worse, some frenchie cajun that moved up to Texas from New Orleans in the last century. Hmmm. With all that hair (which ain't natural you just know it) He LOOKS frenchie to me. I say book him! He just ain't right.

24. He just ain't right!

When Earle gets thru with him, he'll be French toast. FRY 'EM!

Wasn't there a lot of hysterical hoopla by the freepers leading up to the election about John Kerry possibly being (GASP!) French? Kind of funny -- it seems rather logical to deduce that "Delay" is an Americanized French name. Why no gasping about Tommy?

BTW, O'Leilly on Jon Stewart last nite has still got his shorts in a bunch about the French. Such a moran...

14. Ran into someone w/a Kerry sticker in my Repub town. I said "Go Kerry!"
She said "I guess I should take that off."

I told her: "I you kidding me? I'm putting mine back on my car!I'm proud of who I voted for."

18. During the heat of the election
I had a fat, billy bob POS sneer, "lookie there, some Liberal creep put Kerry sh*t all over your bicycle."

I responded and he said,"And where did you learn all them nasty cuss words?"

I told him, in the Army, an organization that sent me to invade Panama. I also reminded him it was him that initiated the exchange, not me.

Fortunately, in Portland and Eugene Oregon the W stickers were pretty rare the last election. And with how the Chimperor is doing these days, taking the faded W sticker is not all they should be doing. If I were them I'd be so ashamed if I had voted for him, I'd be wearing a bag over my head too.

21. this has been eating at me lately
the bushbots---

the ones that seem to be regretting it now: I so want an admission of stupidity from them. I want apologies for their ignorant support of this train wreck. I want to ask them, "So, what about when god told you to vote for the guy? I tried to tell you what a bunch of liars they are....." or, "sooo, still proud of that bush vote?" Snarky, but its so tempting. Especially because you KNOW you won't get any apologies.

And then there are the ones who still, even as recently as shortly after Katrina, when it was widespread news that Brown was a tool, and *turdweasel had been busy avoiding doing anything for 4 days----the ones who still had to tell me what a strong *bush* ( :puke: ugh just typing that makes me sick) supporter they are....what do I do? I have to shut my mouth and act like everything's fine, because we have to work together.

I've never been very good at faking. yech. x(

28. Bush Bots
Like they say, you can't teach a pig to sing. It annoys the pig, and wears you out. I try to avoid rubbing it in to the ones who seem to be catching on.

I spent too many years doing grass roots work coaxing the mud dub goober demographic of those I talked forest and other issue with to not know it is easy to spook them back into Bush's Sheeple flock.

I recommend letting it go, but hey, believe me, I don't lie when I say I profoundly feel your pain.

30. Yeah .. sometimes I drive the Old Truck ..
my bad.

Actually, it is a 8- or 9-year-old Expedition. We originally bought it for business needs. I don't feel to guilty because we don't drive it very far or too much anymore.

I'm saving up for a Prius; my goal is early next year.

Our other one is a minivan.
