why fitz's case is so big
In my eyes why this case looms even larger then a simple CIA leak job or hopefully the full exposure of Bushco's murderous secrets.
This is bigger then this next election which is still huge. But looking even deeper this will deceide which revolution the American people will be involved in.

Why America is ripe for revolution

I don't think really need to stay these things for at least half of the people here. But just to name a few the 2000 presidential election, 9/11 being a farce, the enusing passage of the PATRIOT act, the invasion of Afghanistan and search for OBL(a glorified witchunt), Rejection of the Kyoto Protocol, not to mention so many more environmental protections being tore down, what people really don't mention is the alarming number of mergers under the bush administration, the invasion of Iraq, the 2004 elections, hurricane katrina, the davis bacon act being brought back, the passage of the bankruptcy revision laws( how long til we see debtors prisons?)....well I could keep going on.

This has all snowballed ever so slowly and as many here have mentioned a critical mass is being reached. How much will we put up with?

Revolution: Violent or Velvet?

This case really pends on which is followed. If Fitz has something that deep then we could see the kind of exposure even Joe six pack in podunkville can't ignore anymore. The Mainstream media even can't turn it down. This would be key in mobilizing the malaised masses that currently trudge their way through comtemporary life. This case we'd see an even bigger turn out then last year's election and even more imporant I saw with this last election it caught the attention of the youth like me. I didn't get all the data but being 23 and seeing os many other college students my age really talking about it even after the election really has my hopes high about my generation taking over the reigns of this country in the future. We could see a velvet revolution simply taking this country and gently guiding it back on course. This however is subject to the democrats stepping up and setting this on the right course. There's quite a few things I'd like to see from democrats in the next year.

Promises for election reform:

I thought I heard of a bill formed for this purpose but I'm not 100% sure. If so they need to step up and really promote it as a big part of the next elections.

No more PATRIOT act:

I think this simply speaks for itself here. This abomination of legislation needs to be done away with .

Anti-Trust legisation:

What most people don't talk about with this administration is the alarming number of big mergers given the ok. This centralization of coporate power is by far the biggest threat to America in my opinion and some big steps need to be taken to reign this corporate beast from grwoing even stronger before it's too late...and other times I wonder if it is too late.

A growing need for universal healthcare:

I know Kerry really tried to make this part of his election but I don't think it really sunk in with America. The number os insured Americans is staggering and something has to be done. Most of us are walking around on eggshells healthwise but with the cost of living increasing well..what elese is there to do?

Minimum wage increase:

Trickle down economics is a farce and a joke. If you really want to raise the standard of living for everyone in America raise the minimum wage. As more people are able to spend their money on things besides basic neccessities which by the way the current state of minimum wage does NOT even come close to. The economy will grow and people will be better off in the end of the poor and poorer are helped. Not if the rich are helped.

While there is much else these would make a good and reasonable start to putting this country back in the right direction. While I am sure we all hope for this velvet revolution to come to pass. I won't hold my breath. When the rich and wealhy get entrenched in power they are not long to let it go so easily.

1. Fear for Fitz

How far do you think Bushco will go to stop Fitz? How low will they go? They've already done so many dastardly deeds they would stoop to anything to hold their offices. I worry for Fitz. I hope he doesn't "turn up missing" or Get in a "car wreck".
