Freeper office mate still says Clinton's lies are worst than Plame!!
This guy is a big time freeper and has W stickers all over his car. I was chiding him today saying I was sure that there will be some big time indictments coming soon and he said, "That Plame case is nothing compared to what was going on with Slick Willy--that guy stone cold lied to us on national television, 'I never had sex with that woman'" I pointed out to him that was a unfortunate lie to protect his family--Bush lied to the American people about Iraq and as a result thousands of people have died and families have been destroyed. He just laughed and said, "typical liberal mumbo jumbo--W is fighting a war on Terrorists." I said, "He diverted us from Afghanistan and the chase for Bin-Ladden to settle an old family score--that's all." With that he just said, "Right" and stormed off.

2. When Freeper co-workers talk politics to me lately...
It's like the adults talking on Charlie Brown cartoons. Just a lot of undecipherable blathering.

3. Tell him that Slick Willy was an amateur compared to Greasy George.
Why bother arguing logically? Just give him back what he's throwing at you.

Don't forget that Repubs worship Reagan, who stated, "Facts are stupid things."

13. this is sad and true
I have witnessed this in many instances where someone who reasonably should be able to step away, cannot bear to admit they may have erred, and thus keep supporting something they do not even believe in. They may back down a bit or walk away, but they almost never admit they are wrong.

I think it goes back to the lack of nuance in their black and white world. They cannot fathom how something can be other than "A" or "Z", that it might be "g" or even "m2" and think we're all crazy for seeing all the pretty colors (sorry to mix my metaphors...)

... becasue the world is already arguing with them. From current events, to world opinion, to Mother Nature if the Kool-aid drinkers are getting the message now they never will.

14. a coworker of mine
Was bitching about Bush intervew yesterday on the Today show.

"He was trying to build a house and they were asking him questions about things democrats had said. . ."

Okay so he is ummm the president and representative of the republicans. Shouldn't he need to responde to things democrats said.

And WTF is he doing building a house when there is all this other shit to do. . oh yea he is the king of photo ops.

15. HAHAHAH
with any luck for the future homeowners, he was not trying to build a house. Hopefully he did no more than sink a nail or two. And frankly, I am not that confident he can do that successfully.

17. It must suck to be that delusional.
Or that unwilling to admit obvious mistake in judgment. Clinton's 'character' flaws are nothing compared to Pinhead's very real character flaws and unwillingness to admit his mistakes(for the record, I don't think Pinhead makes mistakes, I think every decision he makes is calculated and well thought out) even when it's the most logical thing to do. Pinhead** has lied on national television so many times, I've lost count and his lies have resulted in murder. When did Clinton's lie result in murder? Impeaching a sitting President for lying about what the definition of sex is, is mind boggling. I still can't believe it happened, 7 years, after the fact. Imagine what your co-worker would have to say if Clinton had done even 1/10th of what Pinhead has done, he would be livid, considering that he is still miffed over Clinton lying on national TV over a sex scandal. Does he realize how stupid he sounds? Right, Indeed!

to America since the Civil War...............they forget

20. Sometimes I try to put myself in a freepers position to see if I could
understand why they think the way they do. All I can come up with is that they really believe what they say in the way some people believe in superstitions. There is no way you could come up with any evidence that supports their thinking but that fact is irrelevant to them.

To try to have a discussion with them is like talking to your dog.

The cover company that Plame worked for that is now totally blown.

Ask him how this is good in stopping the spread of WMD. The same WMD that Bush said Saddam had...
