I totally get the money thing. But being on the left, I also think it can be over done.

The basic who, what, where, and when can be posted when they post the lede. They'd still draw in readers for the full story, but they wouldn't create the circumstance of people going back into the pop-up mine field repeatedly only to find nothing else has developed further.
