Further proof that I was wrong in my inital reaction to the Minutemen
Edited on Mon Oct-10-05 03:16 PM by Walt Starr
I'm not afraid to admit when I'm wrong about something, and man, was I EVER wrong about these assholes.

Thanks to DU for waking me up to them initially. Further research on my own only reinforced and, to my horror, showed how utterly racist they are.

This is perhaps the most damning bit on the racism of the bastards I've found to date. It's the history of the group:

Christian Science Monitor failed to note Minuteman Project volunteer's white supremacist ties

In a May 2 article chronicling the Minuteman Project's efforts to patrol a portion of the U.S.-Mexico border, The Christian Science Monitor described Minuteman volunteer Joe McCutchen as "a retired pilot" who donated his time and money to man a lookout post on the Arizona/Mexico border eight hours a day for two weeks. But the article's portrayal of a man dedicated to the Minuteman "vigil" -- spending "14 days in a folding chair, buffeted by wind storms, face-cutting sand, freezing cold, and scorching sun" -- failed to include information that seems relevant to his motivation: his connection to two white supremacist organizations.

Monitor staff writer Daniel B. Wood quoted McCutchen describing "a new sense of compassion for the illegals who are being exploited by both countries," but Wood did not report McCutchen's association with the Council of Conservative Citizens and American Renaissance, despite a January 27 Associated Press report exposing these ties.

The Council of Conservative Citizens (CCC), which the Southern Poverty Law Center calls the "successor of the old White Citizens Council," listed McCutchen as a member in a 2001 CCC publication. While McCutchen has denied that he was ever a member, he does not deny that he spoke on a panel at a 2001 anti-immigration forum CCC held in North Carolina, as the AP reported. The Southern Poverty Law Center has noted that the CCC has described blacks as "a retrograde species of humanity." CCC's national website currently features an article titled "David Yeagley speaks on miscegenation," in which Yeagley states that "Love of race is the only 'saving grace' left in the world" and calls for an end to further mixing of the races. The site also features an advertisement for "White Pride T-Shirts," with CCC listing the t-shirt group as a sponsor.

McCutchen has lobbied for anti-immigrant legislation proposed by Arkansas state senator Jim Holt, but Holt said he plans to

9. Arkansas immigration lobbyist tied to alleged hate groups
White Supremacist heads Protect Arkansas Now

The wonderful folks who brought us Prop 200 are taking their message across this great land of ours, starting with Arkansas. And they've got even more white supremacists to help them out!

Arkansas immigration lobbyist tied to alleged hate groups

January 27, 2005, 6:56 AM

LITTLE ROCK
Ark. (AP) -- A leading hate-group tracker says Joe McCutchen of Fort Smith, a self-described "one-man band against illegal immigration" who is now lobbying for a bill in the Arkansas Legislature, has ties to allegedly racist organizations.

Sens. Jim Holt, R-Springdale, and Denny Altes, R-Fort Smith, on Wednesday filed the proposed Arkansas Taxpayer and Citizen Protection Act. The measure would require stricter proof of citizenship for voter registration and forbid public assistance for non-citizens unless mandated by the federal government. The bill also requires state and local authorities to report illegal aliens to federal immigration officials.

Holt introduced McCutchen on Friday as the head of Protect Arkansas Now, a lobbying group modeled after Protect Arizona Now, the lobbyists for a similar immigration law in Arizona that passed by referendum last November.

McCutchen denied Southern Poverty Law Center's claims Wednesday that he was a member of the Council of Conservative Citizens, but acknowledged that he wrote about his campaign to tighten immigration laws in the February 2000 edition of "American Renaissance," identified as a "hate sheet" by the racism watchdog group.

snip---

McCutchen spread much of his anti-Abraham, immigration-limiting message by flying a sign-toting plane over Michigan and Michigan State football games. At the time, Abraham was a leading proponent of expanding entry visas to foreign high-tech workers. McCutchen said Wednesday that the Arab-American politician's work against immigration-limiting measures had helped the country become "a third-world dumping ground."

by his wealth..
maybe.
He used to be a Pharmacist, starting out with one Pharmacy. Soon he owned a chain, I can not remember how many but quite a few.
His son Joey is a pretty big attorney here in Fort Smith, Ar. and Northwest Arkansas.
Joe McCutchen is on talk radio all of the time.. He is a frickin' hero to people who are "all about the borders and immigration."
Usually he parces his words very carefully you know right on the line as to not get in too much trouble.
He is extremely smart, wrong but smart, racist too of course.

My 50 mile commutes are accommodated via a train, thankyouverymuch.

My SUV stays. In fact, I'll probably trade it in on a newer model next year. Probably one of the new hybrid SUVs. But an SUV is an absolute must.

And your bullshit about my house is laughable at best.

SOVEREIGNTY SLIPPING AWAY

You feel insulated against the illegal Mexican and "other than Mexican" invasion? Are they coming here to be good citizens and embrace American culture? Think again. In five years, not 20, if this pattern continues, our nation will be Balkanized and civil unrest will prevail.

Leading the charge are the American Civil Liberties Union, Anti-Defamation League, Southern Poverty Law Center, American Jewish Congress and others; they fuel open borders and multi-culturalism. Their goal is to destroy middle-class America. They have no legal standing in their assault on America, but effectively suppress public discourse by hurling racial incendiaries — white supremacist, anti-Semite, racist — and certainly controlling the Congress.

NAFTA was the first nail; Central American Free Trade Area was the second of four nails in the coffin to destroy American sovereignty. Free Trade Area of the Americas is the third. Bush's "Americans for Border and Economic Security" is the fourth in a five-year plan to dissolve our national borders. All this is under the grand lies of "free trade" and "security."

Bush's corporate cronies pay $50,000 to $250,000 each to implement the plan, coupled with amnesty for 20 million to 30 million illegals.

Re: Booming northwest Arkansas. Forty percent of adults receiving emergency food assistance are employed; more than 18,000-plus children are enrolled in free lunch programs. There are more than 1,000 new students in Springdale this year; are they legal?

Criminals Bush, Huckabee and Congress are destroying middle-class America by overt and covert activities.

For a dose of reality, visit the Fort Smith Boozman/INS/ICE headquarters at 4943 Old Greenwood Road — early mornings — and witness the invaders receiving benefits.

Why aren't the politicians and policing agencies protecting American taxpayers from illegals and their employers?

His son and him have a new deal going now..

Patriots,
Joe and Joey McCutchen are putting together a radio ad campaign with a local ad agency to inform the Arkansas public about Senate Bill 206 to be introduced by state Senator Jim Holt. The bill is based on Arizona Prop. 200 which required proof of citizenship to vote and denies "benefits" to illegals other than those mandated by the federal government. They plan to run the ads in the Little Rock and Fort Smith markets, and probably N.W. Arkansas. They are footing the bill.

Efforts against illegals broaden
By Stephen Dinan-THE WASHINGTON TIMES

Immigration-control activists announced a bill to crack down on benefits available to illegal aliens in Arkansas, the first in what is expected to be a wave of initiatives and bills following the success of a similar proposition in Arizona in November's election. Arkansas state Sen. Jim Holt yesterday said he will sponsor a bill in the legislature this year to deny benefits and inhibit the ability of illegal immigrants to register and vote. And state resident Joe McCutchen promised to lead a grass-roots effort to support the bill. Mr. McCutchen said he thinks it's up to citizens to take action on illegal immigration. "If our republic's to be saved, we'd better," he said. "It's obvious the president has no intention to secure the borders, and I think this is by design. I think they're dedicated to destroying the sovereignty and heritage and culture of this nation for their own purpose, whatever that may be."

52. Old one here no longer up at the newspaper site.
His main topic used to be HMO's once upon a time..

June 2003

Duped again! Weapons of Mass Delusion.

Who orchestrated Bush’s illegal Iraqi war? Official reports indicate that 25 Zionists were the architects. Examination of Bush’s predominately neo-con Jewish/Zionist inner circle reveals all advocate continuing illegal preemptive strikes against Middle-Eastern countries.

A partial list: Richard Perle, Paul Wolfowitz, Douglas Feith, Ari Fleischer, Donald Rumsfeld, Michael Chertoff, Elliot Abrams, Michael Ladeen, David Wurmser, Lewis Libby and Karl Rove — a combination of dual-citizenships, Israel-Firsters, or offspring of Trotskyists. These men all hold strategic positions in the federal government. Cover for the aforementioned is supplied by Falwell/Robertson fundamentalists.

Jewish media control, i.e. Viacom, CBS, MTV, ABC, Clear Channels, Turner Broadcasting, Warner Bros., Sony, Disney, coupled with goodly numbers of Jewish editorialists, print and spoken, guarantees a Jewish/Israeli slant.

Bush and his mostly Jewish neo-cons' war against Iraq was illegal, immoral and resulted in the emasculation of the Constitution. There are no weapons of mass destruction and no evidence that Iraq has harmed U.S. interests, i.e. no Iraqi terrorists. Evidence indicates Bush I was a party to installing Saddam and was formerly a business partner, and U.S. furnished Iraq with start-up material for bacterial warfare.

Bush and his neo-con handlers have vaporized the 14th Amendment, shades of Nazi German differing only in role-reversal. Additionally, Globalist Bush refuses to secure our southern border, and estimates state that in excess of 10,000 illegals are crossing daily. The aforementioned, accompanied by "Homeland Security" and the "Patriot Acts" guarantees a U.S. citizen lock-down! American culture is in a melt-down.

Who benefited? Bush oil, Israel and the military/industrial complex.
The Bush administration is involved in a criminally arrogant disdain for the Founders' formula for a free society.

Joe McCutchen

32. They hid it as best they could in the beginning
As with all things related to the KKK, they've discovered that when their racist rhetoric gets out, people get turned off to them.

46. Too late. They will be patrolling your neighborhood for illegals tomorrow
Have your green card ready to present it when they demand to see it. I hear Tijuana is really nice this time of year.

50. Whew. Good.
I've always appreciated your posts, and could not for the life of me figure out your stand on the "minutemen." Great history link, BTW. Even some new stuff I didn't know.

The illegal invasion: Cui Bono? (Who benefits?)
by Joe McCutchen

(Arkansas anti-illegal immigration activist Joe McCutchen has been repeatedly attacked in the editorial pages of the Arkansas Democrat Gazette newspaper by slimy

snip--- because it is very racist and ugly..

Time was when crime families were defined by who had the most Thompson submachine guns, society morphed and crime families changed. These new crime families have evolved from a corporation/government nexus. The most direct route to achieving crime family status is to lobby (buy) politicians and exploit illegals. Subsidized by middleclass taxpayers.

Who are Arkansas’ crime families (oligarchs), the aspirants, and the aiders and abettors?

Do the Tyson’s and Walton’s qualify as crime families? Snippets of U.S. law: Section 274. A person (including a group, business, organization, or local governments) commits a felony when he assists an alien he should reasonably know is illegally in the U.S. by transporting, sheltering, or assisting him or her to obtain employment, or knowingly assists due to personal convictions. State and local enforcement officials have the general power to arrest illegals and their employers without prior ICE knowledge or approval. WHY DON’T THEY?

56. I'm happy you saw the light
If you google illegal immigration and minutemen it gives you all the info you need to be against these clowns.

I remember a while back listening to The Terry Anderson show. Have any of you heard of this guy? His show is in L.A and he talks strictly about illegal immigration. I was shocked to hear some of his callers come out and call Hispanics the S word especially since Terry Anderson is a black man. I called up his show and gave him an earful. I told him he should be ashamed to have these people on the radio using racial slurs. Sad to say MOST of these people are fueled my their hatred for people of color. I live in California and I hear the hatred from the freeper types. There has to be a better way to deal with illegal immigration. We do not need idiots running around the border with guns behaving like hard asses. I'm glad you did your research Walt. I promise you if you dig a little further these idiots will have you boiling with anger.
