Did anyone else hear Wolfie trying to push Robertson to state that this was the "end times"? It was downright creepy. Course ole Pat's slicker than that. He didn't fall for it but said some dissembling crap like "some might interpret it that way", but not him, of course.

I disagree. Wolf seemed genuinely shocked at what Pat Robertson said, and asked him a clarifying followup. I think he was deliberately giving him just enough rope to hang himself.

8. I don't think he was shocked at all but structured the question

to elicit a response about the end times. The question was specifically about "what was going on" given all the events in the world lately. He wanted to get a response along those lines.

...is in his dotage. After his comment about Chavez, his handlers should have realized he has NO business in front of a camera. Somebody needs to get him a glass of buttermilk and sit him on the front porch with a flyswatter. That's about as ambitious as he needs to be.
