What's the significance of 10/9/05?

That's supposed to be the date selected by Al Quadia to hit NYC. Did I hear right on ABC that supposedly 19 people were sent over to arrange a subway bombing? 19? What's with 19?

I tend to trust the people in NYC who are taking this seriously and hope they can track this down ahead of time. If true, I'd like to know how 19 terrorists got in under the nose of Homeland Security.

10/9 is a Sunday! If you're trying to create a disaster, why in the hell would you do it on Sunday? As to the 19 people, that's sounds like BS too. A decent planner puts a primary targeter in place to do the deed, and has 1 backup, just in case something happens to that first one. 19 is not divislbe by 2!

I think this is yet another effort to keep the American people "very afraid"!

9. Another More Likely "Significant" Date is...

11/9...as well as (perhaps even more attractive) 11/8 (which equals 19 and is on a Tuesday.)

There's always the chance that IF there is a Sunday threat, and IF the co-conspirators in Iraq have spilled some of the intel, and IF this IS an actual Al Qaeda plot, that the NYC actors already have planned (in case of discovery) to just stand-down until the next auspicious date.

That being said, significant dates actually do have resonance with resistance movements. 10/9 could be symbolic.

Since the success of the 9/11 events, and the number of hijackers (19) Al Qaeda proper considers 19 to be a "pseudo-holy and blessed number" as well as Tuesdays (simply because they've had a lot of successful attacks on Tuesdays.)

However, I still reserve judgement on all the current resistance movements that were ever under control of the CIA.

Where I feel there is definitive intel that Al Qaeda is not CIA connected anymore comes from the fact that Clinton DID warn the incoming Bush administration about Osama bin Laden...therefore he is more probably one we trained, equipped, and had turn against us.

Bin Laden (and his family) have a very good idea what American Imperialism is about by now.

Still, if bin Laden is still alive...and is, or remains, a terrorist now, it does not automatically rule out rogue units and black ops from being ordered to carry out attacks in Al Qaeda's name to prop up and distract from the travails of the administration.

Sigh. Massive "Charlie Foxtrot"...all this "terrah" stuff at this point.
