the allegations about the bug discovered in Street's office are only meant to bring attention to it. And he, Katz, doesn't wish to bring attention to it. Duh!!!!!!!!!

(Katz is the Repub who is running against Street, the current Dem Mayor of Philadelphia. Election is in 3 weeks.)

3. Street has had a rough tenure

Street's term as mayor has been filled with lots of scandal and investigations. It wouldn't surprise me if he was under investigation by the FBI for something very corrupt.

That being said I wouldn't put it past Katz to bug his office either.

4. Bernie Ward is saying

that the FBI has declared that it was the agency who planted the bugs. But they won't reveal why. Bernie is suggesting that it's all connected to WH manipulating the mayoral race. The Repubs want an R in the mayor's job to help them get Pennsylvania in the R column.
