More Cite bu$h than Terror as "America's Most Important Problem"
In the CBS poll that has Bush’s approval at 37%, another suprising figure sticks out. Asked to specify America’s most important problem, more respondents pointed to President Bush than to terrorism:

U.S. MOST IMPORTANT PROBLEM

War in Iraq
Now 18%
9/2005 13%

Economy and jobs
Now 16%
9/2005 14%

Gas/oil crisis
Now 5%
9/2005 9%

President Bush
Now 5%
9/2005 5%

Terrorism
Now 4%
9/2005 6%

2. He is never going to recover from this.
In the next few weeks we will see:

(1) Bush vetoes anti-torture bill.
(2) Fitz indicts half the top echelon in the White House.
(3) Frist gets indicted.
(4) DeLay gets indicted at the Federal level.
(5) Miers kicks Bush's base in the nuts.

He's so screwed.

5. I hope you're right electro...
....It IS good to see the Sheeple finally awakening from their stupor...question is, with the GOP so utterly entrenched and controlling virtually EVERYthing, is there anything we can DO about it?

6. Yeah, I wonder too. Ohio's Gov. Taft's approval is down to 15%
That's well below the point that people stark breaking out the pitchforks and torches.

There are still a lot of people in the process of waking up.
