Jeff Toobin declares that Fitzgerald's investigation has taken too long
Edited on Fri Oct-07-05 03:17 PM by burythehatchet
That's right. You heard it on CNN. The erudite legal analyst declared that 2 years is too long for an investigation. When Fitzgerald's grand jury's term expires this month, according to Mr. Toobin Fitzgerald needs to wrap it up.

6. Well thank Cooper and Miller for that, Jeff. They could have cooperated
last year, without the melodrama and media circus that dragged out the investigation.

7. How the fuck would he know. He admits he doesn't know what
Fitzgerald has. If you are not involved in the investigation, seems would be hard to say if it was taking too long.

12. Wasn't a year taken up with reporters stonewalling the investigation
because their "sources" wouldn't give them clear passes to talk?

13. Toobin keeps saying that Bush insists his people fully cooperate
I have to question Toobin's credibility when he takes Bush at face value and keeps reiterating that Bush has demanded full cooperation from White House staff. I have heard Toobin keep on repeating that several times this week at the same time that he says Rove shouldn't testify because it could harm rather than help him. Even Wolf Blitzer questioned Toobin asking him why Rove's numerous visits to the Grand Jury would be a problem since if he was being truthful there would be no problem for him in talking to GJ.
