UN "Peacekeepers" Must Not Bolster US/UK Occupation of Iraq
If the UN sends "peacekeepers" to Iraq, they are enforcing a "peace" of US colonialism, and will earn the hatred of the Iraqi people. The only way out for the occupation is to turn all political power over to the people of Iraq--where it belongs.

There is nothing inherently more just of acceptable about a UN occupation vs. a US occupation. If anything, the UN would only serve as a fig leaf to cover the naked foreign aggression. The UN failed to prevent the aggression, and as such proved its impotence in fulfilling the task of safeguarding national sovereignty and reigning in the worst kind of imperialism represented by the Bush/Blair war.

1. I am in total and utter agreement with you sir
you have it down to a T, the US/UK went into this affair alone and should remain alone to deal with the aftermath.

It is painful to see what is happening over there but is to be expected, the Iraqi people are fully justified in their efforts to oust the occupiers, wouldn't you do the same folks if the roles were reversed ?

2. absolutely
the chimp and his criminal congregation told the UN and the world to blow it out their collective ears over Iraq, falsified documents and invaded a country for personal gain.....now they want someone else to come clean their rooms for them?? Hell no. I say pull OUR troops the hell out of there and proceed to immediate impeachment and criminal trials for each and every one of the cabal. Starting with Georgie boy......and HALLIBURTON et al should be made to return EVERY LAST RED CENT of our money they have scarfed on this little adventure, be dissolved and the proceeds of the sale be given to the Iraqi people as reparations for what was done to them......

I'm just getting more and more steamed over all this

3. You're right.
The US chose this war and the US has to live with the consequences. The US is responsible or bringing about peace and for rebuilding Iraq's infrastructure. Then they need to get the hell out of there.

The US needs to learn that there is a price to pay for this kind of arrogance.
