Field trip..... :) :)

Actually, if the bozos are still "protesting" tomorrow I think I'll ask scruffy (Mrs. DB) if she wants to venture over there.

I'd be quiet, of course. :)

2. I must have missed this. I'll admit that "Victoria's Secret stuff"
will sometimes "push me over the edge", but what are you talking about specifically? Who's protesting?

7. Not surprising
The store is located in a very upscale part of northern Virginia, and not in an area that would be considered Bible Belt- by any stretch.

Meanwhile, 4 more soldiers died in Iraq...

9. It's possible that might change
The Republicans do a good job of shitting where they eat eventually, and now might be a propitious time to get in touch with the folks at Victoria's Secret and suggest that their political contributions might be due for a review.

11. hmmmm.....and we know so many Repugs are into "kinky" or outright
molestation. No wonder VS gives so much to them. That's alot of money.
What do you suppose VS needs to get in the way of "favors" for so much money. :eyes:

16. People who don't like it have a right to protest the store. After all...
I thought Democrats supported the right of people to protest? Why should people who find what VS has in their window "soft porn" not have a right to protest it?

Especially since VS gives so much money to Repugs...it's and added incentive. :D

Victoria's Secret will come out with a line of chastity belts next--as compensation --you can keep women controlled a LOT of different ways....

23. Just imagine the counter-protest.

Seriously though. There comes a point where we have to ask ourselves whether we really want our shopping malls looking like the milk bar in A Clockwork Orange. Or the party in Eyes Wide Shut.

Or the spooky night club in any one of a dozen cheezy made-for-TV vampire movies.

In some respects, it's not a matter of values, just a matter of taste and aesthetics. (On a personal note, I know these contraptions make some ladies feel sexy, but frankly and to be perfectly honest I get turned on way more by a tight sweater, short skirt, or just plain old nudity than any of this silk junk. I do like beads, though.)

That said, the display is a bit tamer than the values people make it out to be and wouldn't really even turn my head.

29. And when people on the left protest and complain about
Victoria's Secret and TV, etc. Blah, blah blah - all they are doing is being ENABLERS for the religious right to come along and sanitize our society.

So, when you can't get an abortion or buy birth control, just remember that here is where you started down that slippery slope.

For her part in supporting the chimp in past elections, she's been rewarded with a seat on his ACTPN Committee (Advisory Committee for Trade Policy and Negotiations).

27. This topic seems very "Timely" MSNBC Gals Promoting Porn tonight
with some Esquire Photo's of Bikini Clad former Model who is in trouble...but juxtaposed on the Mag Cover is her in a "Linen Dress" and the two whore Gals are saying...WOW...incredible...Amazing.

I was waiting for more "Orgasmic Responses" from the MSNBC GALS as they TRASH OUR DAUGHTERS AND OURSELVES...promoting SOFT PORN.

What else does GE/MSNBC/CNBC have left to promote besides PORN. Their Iraq Contracts are going sour. They are having problems recruiting "young fresh Business Grad Recruits to our "IRAQ FIASCO" so now GE/MSNBC/NBC/CNN have to fall back on the "Tourist/Voyeuer TRADE!"

Make me GAG...:puke:...Disgusting!
