2. Nope. Byrd is too old,
Maybe Kucinich w/someone else? I like his message and honesty, but he's not forthright enough.

4. Byrd too old, Kucinich too strange and elf-like.
Hell, I'm a social liberal and even I'M a little put off by some of his ideas. I do like a lot of what he says, however.

...and he still looks like an elf.

:)

5. I would not rule out a Gore Kucinich
ticket. It would be a very green friendly, domestic focused admin. We could really use that.

14. Like I said, I do like some of Kucinich's ideas, but he's a hard sell as a
candidate. Maybe appoint him to a cabinet position once we win?

7. This is out of hand
are we so desperate to create heroes that we'd run a ancient guy like Byrd?

In the KKK? I just wanted to say KKK before the trolls said it!

Robert Byrd ain't too old to line Bushco out! * He still does his job far better than most on the hill.

I'll vote for him again!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

10. 2008 zzzz. Let them lead 2006, if they can.
Win 2006 if you want to stop Bush getting Supreme court nominees passed.

Win 2006 if you want votes counted in 2008.

He's not that old
He was born just a year before the World War ended.

Oh wait a minute. That was World War I.

Born November 20, 1917.

That's make him .......... almost 88. So he'd turn 90 during the campaign.

Well on the bright side, maybe the media won't stress the ninety years old or even the Parkinson's disease because they'll be too engrossed in the kleagle period of his life.

Yeah, perhaps there's a better choice.

20. Isn't Byrd against gay marriage?
That's right. Let's have a former KKK member (even if it was a hundred years ago) on the ticket for 2008. That'll really bring out the black vote.

:sarcasm:
