This pic was taken on July 12, 2003 during Bush's trip to Africa. Only a handful of key staff went with him on this trip.

It was on this trip that Karl Rove and Scooter Libby were called to see the plan in motion. Two days latter Bob Novak outs Valerie Plame and her company Brewster Jennings.


We know Fitzgerald subpoenaed the phone records from Air Force 1 for this trip. Seems the buzz this weekend is not if the Grand Jury will indicted, but rather who and when.

My bet, Bush will be an unindicted co-conspirator and possibly indictments for everyone except Laura. At the least, indictments for Ari and Dan.

1. The guy in the foreground should be arrested for fraudulent

adulation of visiting foreign dignitaries. That's a morals crime here in Virginia.

In his defense, maybe he was just really happy to see BushCo leave.

But Novak wrote 2 articles, the second revealing Brewster Jennings when presumably the first one didn't do the trick.

That is why I don't believe for a moment that the goal of all this was retribution, but, was to dismantle WMD black market monitoring. Now, who would benefit from that?
