NeoCons ? - NeoLibs? - PseudoCons? -- The Liberal GOP...
Dominating all three branches of government, the Republican "leadership" has accomplished over the years an unique thing -- taking all manner of liberties:

GOP (judicial) has liberally interpreted our Constitution to decree that Walmart can absorb a private home.

GOP (legislative) will liberally step in on private matters of family and conscience (matters already adjudicated).

GOP (executive) will {with forethought} liberally use the self-procured right to got to war against our genuine attackers as a mandate to divert power to a presumed threat (prolonging war against the genuine threat).

This is simply a sketch of a skeletal outline of all of the abuse that has been so liberally heaped on the American way of life by people who unfortunately hold no value for the intent of our founding fathers, and our accompanying genuine patriotic tradition.

Labels are cheap, but descriptions are lasting. In a nutshell, how does one describe the unusual combination of dynamics at work in Washington now?

1. one must start with calling banana republican what they are: LIARS
everything the public believes about the republican party is based on a conscious marketing message designed to hoodwink the public into believing things they couldn't support with the truth.

the reality of who they are and what they do has virtually nothing to do with their image.

contrary to their public image, they believe in big government, centralized control, regulation of your private lives, highly imbalanced budgets, borrowing from foreigners, forcible taking of private property, welfare for corporate donors, secrecy to cover up anything that suits them, abusing any office or law to suit their political agenda, putting our soldiers in harm's way for private profit, suspension of liberties, manipulated elections, and phony journalism.

among other things.

in short, they believe in pretty much everything hitler believed in with the sole exception of killing jews. other than that holocaust thing, they think hitler was a great guy. well, not if you ask them point blank. but they can't point to a single thing hitler did for germany that they don't want done to the u.s. other than that jewish thing.
