Lynne Cheney is a "very, very bad..." woman!!!!
Remember how she went balistic when John Kerry brought up the fact that her daughter is a lesbian during the 3rd debate?
And she said that he was a "very, very bad man".

Well, it just so happens that in the 80's, Mrs. Cheney wrote a hot, passionate, steamy book about lesbians.

Ha ha - Mrs. Cheney- not only are you a major be-atch, you are also a major hypocrite! Maybe even living in a closet?

Sisters - A Book By Lynne Cheney

If you look around hard enough on the Web you find some humorous stuff. Everyone knows that our Vice President, Dick Cheney, has a lesbian daughter, Mary, about whom he rarely speaks openly even though the poor girl has to work for his re-election committee. But did you know that Dick’s wife Lynne, wrote a sizzling western novel called “Sisters” which is filled with hot, steamy stuff like lesbian love, prostitution and rape, and supports a sweeping pro-feminist agenda

1. Yes, I heard about this years ago
What is worse is that this woman once had so much power over the Natl Endowment for the Humanities with a slash/burn crusade to eliminate the trash, as she saw it.

4. Well...she was looking for an excuse
I will always believe that Lynn Cheney was just looking for an excuse to say John Kerry wasn't a good man. She said "This is not a good man."

What did he do? He got on stage and said he thought Mary Cheney was being the person God created her to be. I happened to disagree with him on that. But nonetheless, he wasn't trashing her.

He says she was being the person God made her to be, and Lynn Cheney says he's not a good man.

Alan Keyes calls her a "selfish hedonist" and you don't hear one thing out of Lynne Cheney about it.

7. That's perverted
And they go around preaching morals? Please, the stuff in this book is more sick and perverse than anything they could think of.

8. Here's a review from Common Dreams
http://www.commondreams.org/views04/0811-07.htm

some snips:
In March, the New York Theatre Workshop staged a performance of choice scenes. The snicker factor is obvious, with passages like "Let us go away together, away from the anger and imperatives of men," and "Eve and Eve, loving one another" in "a passionate, loving intimacy." So is the hypocrisy potential, when both Cheneys and their lesbian younger daughter are laboring to reelect a man who regards Adam-and-Steve nuptials as the death knell for civilization.

he cover describes the heroine as "beautiful, strong-willed," which is book-jacket code for an uppity woman about to be tamed by some man. Not this time. The lesbianism, the adultery, the contraception would offend some Bush voters, but it's the frank, uncensorious feminism that's really astonishing. Cheney's women do what has to be done. No divine bolt splits the heavens to punish lesbians and fornicators. Life happens.

I found myself thinking that, in some ways, Lynne Cheney's 19th century Wyoming sounds like a better place for women than George W. Bush's dream for 21st century America.

In Lynne Cheney's Wyoming, a woman might even tell a tormentor to "shove it," and earn a frontier "you go, girl" for saying so.

11. check out this review!
A touching tribute to the feminity that is lesbianism, March 25, 2004

Reviewer: Mary Cheney from a secure, undisclosed location
"Being ruggedly masculine myself, I was touched to see that my mother does in fact understand the latent burning desires in every woman to discard the politically correctness of phallic worship and enjoy the tenderness that only another woman can offer. Makes every woman want to come out of the closet and shout! 4 stars!!"

OMG - what a HYPOCRITE!
How dare her say that about Kerry!

12. It really is quite pathetic
:eyes: She had this whole fake outrage. You could so tell it was phoney. Remember how anti-gay the whole campaign was? Then after the third debate the Cheney's had this whole fake outrage and all of a sudden Mary starts campaigning for Bush/Cheney saying how much they like gay people. I think that could've been a setup.

13. Yeah, Randi Rhodes heard it from Laura Flanders over a year ago!
Randi didn't believe it at first until she started ready exurbs from the book. She also stated how much of a hypocrite Lynn Cheney is.

16. Yeah, it was a hoot. They would play recorded bits of passages from
"Sisters" on the show. They played one that was so over the top, Randi said No way is that real. She refused to believe Cheney wrote that and wouldn't let them play any excerpts again until they could prove to her it was real.

So they got Flanders on the line who told Randi she had a copy of the book and talked about it and read the "suspect" passages.

It was hysterical, particularly with Flanders delivery and posh accent.

15. In-the-closet gay Republicans are vicious
Well, her daughter is a lesbian, so who's to say she's not? Hell, I'd put $ on it that Ralph Reed, Karl Rove, John Roberts and many more Repugnicans, are in-the-closet gays. Maybe there's just something about being in the closet that can either turn people depressed, or make them mean as junkyard dogs.
