Konstantinos ``Gus'' Boulis who was connected to Jack Abramoff as a partner and for selling a casino boat fleet to Abramoff was murdered in a gangland style hit in 2001. It has been unsolved until now.

They arrested two men for the killing late Monday night. Here is the story:

Now ... TPM is reporting something even more interesting. It seems that another Abramoff partner, Adam Kidan, paid the suspects and their families a quarter of a million dollars at the time of Boulis's death. He explained the payments for catering and security.

2. Bloody B*shco

Two men, Anthony Ferrari and Anthony Moscatiello, arrested in the gangland killing of erstwhile Abramoff business partner Gus Boulis.

Unmentioned in today's AP story are the quarter million dollars in unexplained payments Abramoff business partner Adam Kidan made to Moscatiello, Ferrari and their family members around the time of Boulis' death.

Kidan earlier explained that the payments were for "catering" and "surveillance".

$250K for CATERING and "surveilance"? Geez... the RW crowd accused Clinton of commiting hits on enemies... it looks like B*shco REALLY has.

6. What I find rather delicious about...

... all this is that there are indirect associations all over the place connecting Rove and Abramoff. Josh Marshall, in another segment, says that one of Abramoff's staff ended up being Rove's executive assistant for a time, and that Abramoff was not operating as a lobbyist, but, rather, was controlling a political slush fund in exchange for favors.

And if Rove's in the background of all this, so is Bush. :P
