I Called My Congressman's Office This Morning
I called the office of Congressman Allan B. Mollohan, Democrat representing the 1st District of West Virginia, and about as worthless as tits on a boarhog if you ask me. I asked where he was saturday. I asked just what the good Congressman's position on the illegal war we were waging happened to be. She didn't know. I suggested the clown must not have a position. So I told the lady that I had never seen anything come out of the Congressman's term in office (he's been there for years) and that I was sick and tired of it. I told her that although I have been a voting Democrat all of my life if I didn't start to see some action from that clown on matters of national importance that I would do all in my power to make sure that someone else went to Washington after the next election. I reminded her that it was only 14 months away. I told her in no uncertain terms that I wanted that message passed on to the Congressman and then I gave her my full name, address, and phone number.

By god I'm tired of these do nothing assholes.

Folks, all it takes is a phone call and most Congressmen/women have offices in several cities around their districts.

1. I agree

My congressman is decent. Congressman Kildee. he did vote against the war and we held a single payer healthcare forum last week and one of his aides came. However, he has said nothing about bringing the troops home and is not a co-sponsor of the single payer plan in congress. I called his office the other day and told his aide that just because he has sat in D.C. for 20 yrs doesnt give him the right to take us for granted. I will be heavily involved in campaigns and donating next yr for candidates who want us out of Iraq now and want a REAL solution for this nations healthcare. I really have no use in wasting my time and money on the rest of the corporate whores.

2. I have my Conman's phone number memorized
One of his local offices is in the town where I work, and is a block from my office. The aide is always very polite, writes down my name, etc, and I'll get a letter in a couple of weeks where the repuke Conman basically says, "Nah, nah, nah, we're in charge, I'm right, you're wrong."

The only time his aide was actually listening was right after Katrina. He was scared and as mad as I was--so I know that the repukes were really worried about the hurricane fallout.

4. I called Sullivan and Inhofe about Katrina.....their Tulsa offices
Sullivan 'girl' sounded surprised anyone would call and/or that anyone would be unhappy with response

Inhofe woman was angry with me, said there were lots of lies out there, and that I should watch FOX to get accurate info......I said everyone knows FOX speaks for Bush and the republicans, why should I watch......she seemed stunned that anyone would dare to say that

7. I don't want to hear from Congresswoman Jenny Waite-Brown.
I've gotten lots of letters from her quoting * statements like they are her own. I sure would like to see a Democrat take her seat.

8. Does Mollohan do much?
He's my parents' rep as well, and I rarely hear about his activities at all. Rahall has visited Iraq, and is doing this or that, and even that evil harpy Capito is busy with her plans for dominion. So what does Alan do to fill his time, other than try to keep his kids out of jail?

9. Good for you!
I did something very similar to Hillary Clinton several months ago. I also advised her that it did not make me happy to see her husband pal-ing around with Bush Sr. and that that closeness made me doubt her ability to run successfully for the presidency.

Each time I email her I receive the same boring form response. Once they get into office, they don't usually bother answering with any depth.
