The turd's gonna hit the rotor when the 911 report comes out
Based on the rumors leaking about the controversial nature of the report, and the way the media and governmental officals seem to be catching on to other things, I predict that will be the proverbial card that topples the house of neocons. If they manage to censor a good bit of it, stuff will still get out and a lot of people will be asking questions. Even the repubs won't be have a leg to stand on to block public hearings. Just an observation. Anyone have similar (or different) thoughts on this?

10. Conferms LIHOP
Their was numerus of instances where Bush was informened, and warned, over and over, from a varity of sorces that the attackes were taking place.

The FBI even had enough evdince to get a serch warent, but was ordered to stand down by the justice department.

The information is already out there. As I undertand, this report has nothing new in it. But what is new is that most of it is still clasified, so their is MORE to the report. And the commity already said that they found no resone why their own report should be clasified by the state department, noting that most of the claified information is already in cerculation and was even drawn from public sorces.

The big difrence is that this will be an offichal 9-11 comity issuing the report. Conferming what we already know here at the DU.

Bush Knew 4.0

8. The commission and the 911 familes are getting very ticked
that the Bushies are trying to block and stall, even using intimidation tactics, to keep them from getting to the bottom of things. Apparently they are concerned it could be damaging if it gets out, and they're using national security as an excuse. A preliminary report is due out next and the final report is due next May.

4. i remember reading just the other day
that the admin were all told that there was a plot to crash planes into large buildings the beginning of summer 2001. Remember when rummi and ashcroft would no longer fly on commercial airlines.

3. I doubt it
I think statements about Bush's demise are way premature.

6. All they need to do is prove 1 fact....
The fact: That Clinton's outgoing National Security staff briefed Condi Rice specifically about the Al Qaeda threat and that terrorists would be *priority #1* for her National Security Council. She claims they didn't pass along the information.

accept foolish explanations. Much more skeptical public now, hope that makes a difference.

9. National security is a big issue because of temporal
distortions! Because if sources of information are leaked, the terrorists might be able to use that information to send it back in time and blow up the WTC! This way, the information cannot be leaked through a worm hole vortex and the Reichstag fire will remain as the part of our history allows the ending of freedom in this country.
