Roaring Rita now a Category 4 hurricane

Just updated at weather.com

Hurricane Rita continues to grow stronger over the Gulf of Mexico. Top winds are estimated to be 135 mph, a Category 4 on the Saffir-Simpson hurricane scale.

Good Lord, and this is only Weds.

Maybe it will grow so fast it will burn itself out long before landfall and hit much weaker.

I hope, anyway. :(
