Scary billboard I saw on my way home

In big bold words were:

Judgment Night
2005
Higher Ground Baptist Church

I can't remember the dates, but it appears to be a revival they're advertising. At first glance it looks like an advertisement for a haunted house. It had a dark and eerie looking background. The lettering had a wicked looking design.

It was weird to see.

5. Today, my 7 year-old daughter told me she hates driving by a certain

building (as we were driving by it).

It is a Baptist Church of some kind (I just saw "Baptist Church" as I drove by) with a sign on the front. It isn't a building that looks like a church.

The sign has Jesus on the cross with a look of pain and fear, and drops of blood all over the place. It says on the top of the cross "sin, sinner, sinners".

It is very dark and scary looking. I hadn't noticed it because I'm usually driving.

It really pissed me off. They focus on death and fear as opposed to love and forgiveness. Their signs by themselves freak children out.

How very "Christ-like".

made me think "How about 'Sin, Sinner, Sinnest'?"

Many churches are now putting these together, a variant of a haunted house except they show you about how everything "liberal" will lead to destruction and hell.
