Bush Katrina Ratings Fall After Speech---Rasmussen
Edited on Sun Sep-18-05 03:07 PM by louis c
35% of Americans now say bush has done a good or excellent job responding to hurricane katrina and its aftermath. That's down from 39% before his speech.

41% give the president poor marks for handling the crisis, that's up from 37% before the speech.

1. What all that effort and no "bounce"?
Guess more folks are finally starting to see they've been snookered.

12. Sadly most won't although maybe those that are angry & betrayed enough....
will join in soon. At least there's a bit more hope and I think we need that. :)

3. Unfortuneatly the Repugs are angry that he pledged to spend so much.
That's the only reason many of them are angry with him.

But, hey we can't be choosy. We want his ratings down and now we got it.

8. It was the jaw tick, the blinking eyes and the creepy lights. Also, most
people probably saw that the lights wentout again once Monkey man left. Also, all the sad stories coming out about FEMA not allowing aid into the area, the nationalguard not protecting innocent people in the convention center and the amount of money being spent with contracts going to assholes cronies.I imagine the cartoons about Rice power shopping and Bush eating cake at a birthday party while New Orleans were drowning didn't help the administration either.

Whatever, 3 years is a long time, what can be done to get he,cheney,Rice and Rumsfeld in prison where they belong.

11. Every time he gives a Big Speech, his ratings go down.
Remember the 60-city push for Social Security phase-out? I say let's keep him out there speaking all the time!
