Northwest airlines and Delta airlines have just filed chapter 11
You know what this means, a big freakin bailout. And what are the airlines going to do with that money, line their pockets with it of course.

It's really a sad thing because NW had to pay a big pension payment tomorrow, thousand of retirees wont get their checks.

1. NWA missed a big debt payment last month
and they've got ongoing labor problems with their mechanics. They're doing it to break the union, IMHO.

2. Both Northwest and Delta? Wow, how can the federal government possibly
....bailout both of these airlines without bankrupting the federal budget?

3. Simple,
put more on the tab we owe China.

And tax the hell out of the great-grandkids to pay it back.

4. In the Republican mind, once you've spent it, you never have to
pay it back.

5. Ok, NWA replaced their mechanics and NOW they go bankrupt? WTF?
Typical republican, complains about taxes, gets a tax break and stops giving to charity. The consequences of greed.

6. Tell them to pick themselves up by the bootstraps
Isn't that what they always tell us. One time I almost had to file for bankruptcy due to a medical crisis, was just looking for the mtg. co, credit card co. etc to give me some grace time to get back on my feet. Their answer was no. Well that is my answer to them.
