Commanders Ordered Not To Fire Gays Until War's End
has anyone else seen this? Don't ask, don't tell indeed, but only if there is no war or troop depletion!

pretty sad.

10. They're pleased you understand.
What a load of crap, if people are good enough to fight in their damned war, then they're certainly good enough to stay on if they desire.

4. This happens in every war.
Being gay is only detrimental to troop morale during the grueling horrors of peacetime, like having your weenie exposed for someone to see in the shower. During war, nobody showers, so what's the problem?:eyes:

Hint: There's a reason why New York, San Francisco, New Orleans, Los Angeles, Seattle, Miami etc. are cities with heavy gay populations. They are also the main ports that dropped off the troops after the end of WWII. Most of those heroes who found out about this little bit of life in the Eurpoean theater didn't want to go back home to Smallville Ks. and marry Daisy Sue. Guess where they stayed?

9. what a bunch of fucking wimps
I work out at a very busy gym where half the population there is gay and it's a communal shower area. Out of literally hundreds of gay and straight men who work out there in the early morning, nobody runs back home to shower because they're afraid the homos are looking at their weeners.

What a bunch of girlie men.

I say we don't drop out. I say we kick their pansy asses.

6. Yet despite this abuse gay men and women still fight and die
I'm sure situational homosexual sex doesn't take place in the service between heterosexuals either. What a stupid, small minded, discriminatory policy. When they die, their partners don't get any benefits, or even acknowledgement of the death. Really, really f*cked up.

8. This is literally unbelievable
Shortly after the terrorist attacks of 9/11, a Pentagon spokesman said that the military was not modifying its regulations on gay troops. And a May, 2005 study by the Congressional Research Service says that although gay discharges do decline during wartime, the decrease is the result of .random fluctuations in the data," not an intentional Pentagon policy of retaining gays during wars".

What a crock of crap. Now, maybe it actually is not an intentional policy but more of a policy of lower tiered people deciding not to initiate discharges, but if gay discharges decline during wartime then it isn't random. And these people work for a research service? I am appalled.
