Bumperstickers seen on a Repub's SUV. OMG!
While running errands this afternoon I pulled up behind this SUV at a red light. I started reading what he had pasted on his rear.
There was the the standard "Support The Troops" yellow ribbon magnet, but then...

BUSH LIES
CHENEY/HALLIBURTON LIES
THIS CHRISTIAN REPUBLICAN SAYS BUSH LIES!
BUSH LIES ABOUT SOCIAL SECURITY
BUSH LIES ABOUT THE DOWNING STREET MEMOS.

He had so many he had to put them on his rear window.

:wow:

I hope their Republican politicians take note. The natives are restless and they'd better start supporting impeachment.

37. I've got so many bumper stickers that I don't remember where I got any
of them. But I think you can google the message and see a few sites. I probably got it either from Northernsun.com or cafepress.com.

33. Why would anyone assume they *were* a Repub? Seriously.
Edited on Fri Sep-09-05 08:49 PM by lukasahero
Just because it's an SUV? Or is it the support our troops vehicle?

Sounds like a DUer to me. Sorry, some of us drive SUVs AND support our troops...

Edited: Ok I saw the bumper sticker "this xtian repub..." that basically announces they're a repub. Sorry. On the other hand, there ARE repubs (former?) here on DU. They are not all evil... well, some anyway. ;)

Lots of Democrats got those yellow ribbon magnets too.
If it was a Republican, then good for them.

9. is that supposed to be a subtle "democrats drive suv's too" poke?
it's not like we aren't aware of that, you know. there are plenty of idiots on both side.

of course, there are actually a few people out there (a small percentage) for which an suv is a sensible and relatively efficient vechicle choice. some small fraction of the ones on the road, of course, and most who might need them probably can't actually afford them. but what the hell.

anyway, i'm going to assume that was your intent, as there really isn't much reason to assume that was a "repub" suv.

26. how did he proclaim it? do you know him? if so, you didn't mention it.
i thought you said it was an SUV you drove up behind in traffic. forgive me if i'm confused, but the implication here is that you don't know this person and haven't talked to them, and you didn't mention anything about any "i am a republican and a christian" bumper stickers.

The third one down:

THIS CHRISTIAN REPUBLICAN SAYS BUSH LIES!

So, what am I missing? The OP never edited the original post. It's right there: "CHRISTIAN REPUBLICAN."

31. He proclaimed it on one of his bumperstickers on the back of
his SUV. I'm sorry I didn't have my camera, but this isn't a big town and I may run into him again and there will be a picture. You know it was a bumpersticker like those "I love ***" bumperstickers that are not hard to miss.

His said "This Christian Republican Says Bush Lies!". He had it plastered along with all his other stickers about Bush's lies.

I don't know how to make this any plainer to you.
