Look at this.... we had the thread here about
"I just got back from a FEMA Detainment Camp". Some scoffed at it, some were alarmed by it. In the discussion on the original board somebody just wrote the following:

"I am an NCO in a Military Police unit of the MA Army National Guard.
...
As some of you in New England may be aware, we were supposed to receive 2500 "guests" at Camp Edwards on Cape Cod.
... In the end, the state "won", if you will, and thus far Camp Edwards has only received about 330 "guests".

"Now this is what bothers me...before I even knew this thread existed, this past Sunday I was speaking to a friend (also an NCO in my company) who is a police officer in one of the towns that borders Camp Edwards. Since he'd be most likely to be involved in any security-related operation of the "guests" being accommodated, he was able to tell me some interesting things.
...What he told me was that there was talk of needing lots and lots of security for the (then-anticipated) 2500 refugees. He said that the expected security requirements went far beyond even activating all of the remaining non-active Guardsmen in our entire battalion, to the point where retired DoD police and former MPs from all services would be asked to assist because they already had security clearance. I admit I did not question precisely WHY so much security would be needed, but my friend stated that furthurmore his department along with other towns bordering Camp Edwards were told to have their officers briefed and provided with detailed maps to know exactly where the perimeter for the base was (in terms of where it ran through residential neighborhoods, through woodlands, etc.)IN CASE ANYONE ESCAPES from the refugee area. That was the exact message given to the officers. I believe he was even throwing around the word "prisoners" during our conversation.

... None of us know if there are indeed prisoners in the custody of the judicial system being brought to the Cape; perhaps there are and that is why the cry for all the security. The media however has only mentioned non-incarcerated civilians being brought there...."

2. The FEMA prisoner lockdown approach is nationwide.
You should read this very interesting first-hand account by an Oklahoma family whose church's summer camp was taken over by FEMA to house NOLA evacuees. It talks about how the camp is being organized as a military prison, and no one in the community is being allowed in or to have contact with the former residents of New Orleans who are being "housed" there.

3. Never was any emergency planning only contingency planning
They did everything they could to force people to loot and riot by withholding search and rescue. It started organizationally by NOT declaring NOLA part of the zone until Aug 29. The whole LA coastal area was omitted from the first declaration on Aug 26.

When they did riot they they could call in martial law. When people rioted in other states because of this they would declare martial law everywhere. They were supposed to "prisoners". But the people of NO did not accommodate them, nor did the news media completely cave so they had to change their plan, hence the "debit cards" again for $300 cash you signed away your right to any further aid. Lock down in the dome was early morning headline. They, FEMA, cut off the blogger, shut down the planned low power FM radio and would not allow any independent media inside. (Hired someone to take pictures for FEMA).

They still need this. When NOLA WAS not totally destroyed it may have been plan B to "help" the levees fail. They only care about people who can make them richer, like slave masters really. They don't care that the port was destroyed and the family farms will be hit because our grain will not be competitive. THEY STILL NEED TO GET CONTROL TO KEEP FROM BEING THROWN OUT OF POWER AND THEY WILL. Brace yourself.

4. I'm so fucking fed up!- I called the local newspaper
(live right outside of the base) Over the last 24 hrs
I have heard over ten different people say things like,
"You better start locking your doors" "I'm gonna
start locking my doors"

told the newsperson that I was
angry about the rumors. Who starts
these rumors and why.

Racism is alive and well on Cape Cod folks.
