* tried to blame Clinton for his lies yesterday
It's been overlooked by us and the press alike, but I've been listening to the archive and damned if I didn't hear * say that "it was the same intelligence my predecessor used to make the decision he made in 1998." (from the now infamous Bush/Kofi Annan sort-of-but-not-really press conference.)

So now Chimpy is saying that it's Clinton's fault that Niger slipped into the SOTU, that Saddam had aluminum tubes that could help make nukes, that Saddam had mobile bioweapons labs (the weather balloons), that Saddam was going to make nukes by recovering nine spare parts of a centrifuge from a rose garden, etc, etc. I'm sure there's more, but damned if my head isn't spinning at top speed right now...

13. LENO: Clinton couldn't stretch the truth as never that close to the truth
And Fox is running replays today.

So Bush did not lie to get us to war, and folks did not die in that war, - it is only a stretch the truth problem - and Clinton's sex life was a much more important problem.

Is Leno donating his show to the GOP - or does he or his investments get paid for his whoring?

2. I heard that too
I got so riled up over the "Saddam wouldn't let the inspectors in" bit that I forgot all about blaming Clinton. Yep, he did say that.

8. And Clinton blew the stuff up
How can you pretend something existed after a bombing campaign??? Saddam said it got blown up, he's lying. I don't understand why they keep going back to this old intelligence nonsense. Plus the obvious, as the poster pointed out. The uranium and tubes was new, lies, but new. Shall we all take over the news stations and get the truth out there?

9. I don't know if we should impeach Bush for
lying OR loss of touch with reality.

He said that Iraq wouldn't let the inspectors in--and yet the whole world knows that Blix and the other inspectors were there.

Now he says that he had the same intelligence as Clinton.

These statements are so bizarre that they are truly frightening.

Why aren't the commentators asking for a psychological evaluation? I know we've been calling Bush a moron, but it sounds as though that is not an exaggeration.

14. The hypocrisy is staggering...
Clinton lied about an affair. No one died.

The man, possibly the greatest president our generation will see, is crucified yet to this day by his detractors.

Bush lies about foreign policy. Thousands have died, including brave American troops, and will continue to die.

His supporters don't seem to mind.

God bless America, save us from ourselves.

18. So let me get this straight...
Clinton had the same intelligence:
A. The intelligence was false, ergo Clinton did not go to war.
B. The intelligence was true, and Clinton SHOULD have gone to war.

But the intelligence is NOT accurate. So....WTF are you saying you demented, delusional, waste of biomass???? (I'm referring to His Shrubness here.)
