"... attended a fund raiser for the Red Cross Relief Fund for New Orleans, at OBar/Attic, (Monday 5 Septemebr). It was as always, the inspiration and reminder of why I love this Island so much…. the people and spirit here.

While many are still struggling to recover here, they are giving whatever they can to others in need. Sending money, prayers and kind words to give hope and strength.

We all have our struggles and strife in life. But I encourage you to give in any way you can to those enduring what must seem overwhelmingly hopeless in New Orleans. We must not forget, we share this planet and this time on it."
