The question they were asking was "Who should be fired for the slow response to the Katrina disaster?" The guy (weatherman?) said, "I really don't want to ask this question," then proceeded to ask it again but added the qualifier, "if anyone."

Then the lady 'newscaster' said something to the effect of, "You weathermen gave those people plenty of notice that this hurricane was coming. They should have evacuated."

Yep, folks, KKKarl's spin on this is almost completely successful. It is the victims fault. I am so ashamed of my countrymen who are falling for this line of crap.

If there is one thing you don't want to be in the country, it is poor.

Now, please excuse me while I :puke:

1. Notice how the repukes focus is on pre-katrina activities
Edited on Thu Sep-08-05 10:51 AM by bushisanidiot
like all those poor people should have known that the levee was going to break, etc..

they will NOT talk about the AFTERMATH of Katrina. that's where the deadly mistakes were made. AWoL Bush should have positioned HIS military directly behind the hurricane to come in and start the search and rescue IMMEDIATELY!!

he had plenty of time to position them after the hurricane hit but he sat with his thumb up his nose for 5 fucking days. that's the part the repuke spin machine wants the media to CONVENIENTLY forget.. but we've got it on tape. it was on all the major network news stations.. those people were chanting HELP! HELP! HELP! HELP! HELP! HELP! HELP! HELP!! and he STILL sat for two more days before doing a DAMNED THING!

2. Why do you watch CNN? CNN kisses * ass. If you want to watch
a 24 hours news network , at least let it be MSNBC. GE is no longer ass kissing since high oil prices have cut into its profit margins. Even Scarborough is no longer treating the WH like the Vatican.
