Anyone else watching NBC nightly news?
Wow.

They are slamming Bush & the government response in general big time. Although I don't watch Faux news, I've heard rumors of them being very critical of Bush. It's about time they pointed out how inept Bush is.

3. slam dunk!
i think what is happening is a replacement of 9-11 as the defining moment in *'s whole evil little oily life, so that he will never be again the war president but rather the disasterous disaster president, and we may find out he's not really a president at all, once the recount movement gains steam.

wasn't mardi gras a celebration of the dead? in a way, will the deaths of so many fine souls--mothers and babies, families washed away--lead us all to finally see that iraq is here, the war is here, and now we now know how this GOP cult fights as they cull the feeders from the homeland, if only through neglect. not a huge leap for the "refugees" to be renamed "insurgents."

4. Fox is reporting that the Cavalry has arrived.
This afternoon I heard the first minute and a half of Sean Hannity's radio show just to get a feel for where he was going ... and, surprise, surprise, he announced that the Cavalry had arrived in New Orleans.

I wonder if they had a bugler.
