CDC has been awfully quiet....
Goodness knows there is enough disease down in NO and surrounding areas...people walking around in water that is filled with dead bodies, urine, stool, toxins..then the few that DO get to eat have no where to wash their hands before they eat (or even just touching their mouths/face).
Seems like we heard more out of them in the days right after 9/11. Now they are no where to be found. Guess their stats on death and illness are too scary to share with the public?

4. They are sending (or have already sent) in teams to help

local health professionals. The teams are made up of 20 people and I think there were 10 or 20 teams being sent. I read this days ago so don't know if they're already there. There's not much anyone can do until they get the armed thugs under control, though, and that is going to take a lot of troops. The shooters have kept rescue helicopters from landing.

6. All commissioned officers
are on call. They expect to go next week. A really good friend of mine(next door neighbor that I play golf with every week) is on call and expecting to go.
