I'm no civil engineer ... but geez, if the city is sinking, wouldn't that make the foundation of the levees unstable, leading to a breach?

Please don't tell me that the disaster experts and frustrated officials who said that are *that* stupid! It sounds more like misleading propaganda from the Bush crime family.

would happen with hurricane and breech of levees ---engineer said what happened in reality is exactly what happened in the "model" they made...so Washington knew about it too,.
