If you can get buses to the Superdome why can't they get trucks filled with water and food. I have never seen such stupidity, incompetence, out right lying. Perhaps they mean to do this.

and for the record, the Superdome shelter was NEVER a Red Cross shelter. Lots of calls being made to the Red Cross screaming at them for abandoning people..that is NOT what happened. Friend of mine at our local Red Cross office is doing nothing but explaining this when she should be doing other things to help folks. Her phone is overwhelmed by people who are erroneously blaming them for this disaster at the Dome.

My bet is that the Red Cross and other relief organizations are pissed that they cannot get inside the city and that they are probably staged and ready to go outside Nola but not allowed in.
