I cannot fucking believe what I'm seeing
I need to go off. I need to go off in such a bad way that I'm afraid of my own feelings right now. I thought I had seen almost everything, and nothing could surprise me anymore at my age and what I've lived through in my own life. I now know that I am seeing something that goes beyond cruelty, beyond sadistic, beyond evil. This man that stole the seat of presidency from us and the people that believe in him for any reason should be eliminated from our nation and put somewhere worse then hell.

I remember when I was small girl in the early 60's and I would visit New Orleans many times throughout the year because most of my fathers family lives there, how unbelievably racist and cruel the world appeared to the blacks back then. They would spit on the black people and scream horrible names and as a little girl I realized how wrong this was. I thought we had gotten past that. I now realize we are worse now as a nation then we were back then. We are watching people die, slowly, painfully right in front of our eyes. I watched the evening news and I'm crying, an unbelievable sadness has come over me and has been here for days. I don't have a car that can make it out of my city to go help them, I can't afford to drive now because of gas. My family and I are barely making it ourselves. I want so desperately to help but can't. I don't trust the Red Cross, I mean come one, the whole 9/11 thing?

This administration has shown me just how low it will go. * is sitting there laughing, just like they used to back in the 60's and he is smirking under his breath knowing every minute he waits the more of these people will die. It is time folks, we now have 2 million homeless people that are angry and deserve to be angry and we have the rest of us who want nothing more then to take these peoples anger and give them our own for all the unjust this administration has shown us. We must overtake, anyway we can. We have bus loads of people picking up other people on the way to Washington, we now have 2 million misplaced people that need a place to stay. Let's all just park it around the White House and show them the misplaced people they have pissed off and tell them we aren't going to take this anymore. I'm tired folks, I'm tired of being raped by this administration. I am ready to go off, and it doesn't appear that it will be pretty. Who's with me?

12. Exactly ... or money for gas ... or that there were disabled
and elderly people who couldn't get around ....

Why wasn't there help to evacuate the 'projects', where the elderly and disabled lived, families with children .... I really don't get it ....

and I am outraged!

people and 3 dead. We look weak and the World is watching.

3. Let our anger be our fuel for revolution.
I think it's time the poor and working class people rose up and took back this country from the rich, greedy pigs running it. Condi Rice buys thousand dollar shoes as people drown, Bush plays guitar as children die. I am with you.

Let's roll.

29. You got that right. MILLIONS of people have nothing left to lose.
They've already lost it all.

Time is certainly ripe for a revolution if things keep going the way they are.

And I'm on the side of the revolutionaries.

5. Ever hear of Hooverville?
That was the tent city erected in Whashington, DC by demonstrating WWI vets during the Great Depression demanding their bonus checks.

The forgotten people abandoned in NO should set up their own city outside bush*'s back door. I would give them my full support. They have every right to be angry. What in God's name is happening to this country?

* Historical note * A young Gen McArthur opened fire on the vets and ended their protest. I fear if we tempt history it will repeat itself.

7. Seriously, what difference would it make
if they started shooting. Most people are going down the tubes so fast that nobody really cares anymore anyways, do they? I say we park it outside OUR house and feed each other and when it get's cold, well then we start making our way inside. Where else are they going to go? A concentration camp set up by Bush himself? Nope, let's just live outside the White House, it is our house and who better to occupy it then the homeless people now of the world.

14. I second that sentiment!
Let's all hope and pray for genuinely empathetic and compassionate leadership. Think again, if you believe it can be found in MOST of our present national Democrats (both the House and Senate).

Time to vote the DINOs out?

19. Glad I'm not a black baptist minister, selling b* to my congregants
I think the black GOP vote is over, now. And the few latinos that drank the coolaid are paying attention. They understand what this means. We've chosen not to evacuate those people, because they're not important to us.

Only the poor have had to make do, living on borrowed time in a city that lives below sea level. Only the poor stayed. The 1% got their tax cut, and the 5% got their war contracts. The poor just got an education.

This will not be forgotten.

8. See if there is a medical team from your city or town going down there.
I found out yesterday my town has one on its way. They go down with a set amount of supplies, but I'm sure they'll be others sending supplies to them.

9. A revolution of sorts is coming... not sure what form it will take.
Impeachment, resignation, or worse? At any rate, I do believe the people will make the final judgment on Bush within months.

10. I'll be there. I'm way past anger.....
There's a rage that must be harnessed and used effectively. I will not rest until until this administration dies. And I'm saving a special place for their collaborators. They will pay for this.

GREEN DAY LYRICS

"Boulevard Of Broken Dreams"

I walk a lonely road
The only one that I have ever known
Don't know where it goes
But it's home to me and I walk alone

I walk this empty street
On the Boulevard of Broken Dreams
Where the city sleeps
and I'm the only one and I walk alone

I walk alone
I walk alone

I walk alone
I walk a...

My shadow's the only one that walks beside me
My shallow heart's the only thing that's beating
Sometimes I wish someone out there will find me
'Til then I walk alone

People have no idea how much they have been lied to all their lives about how the world is and has to be. The truth behind BushCo and his criminal buddies once it comes out is going to shock the world.

A lot.

And I'm watching these helpless people slowly suffering to death. Starving. Living in conditions worse than animals. And I'm crying.

24. I saw an image of a woman 100 years old dying this evening in NO
I also heard the story of a nine-month pregnant woman who has had nothing to eat or drink for days, as has not her baby.

Impeachment is too good for Bush and company. It also takes too long. We need a mechanism to demand his immediately resignation. I don't know what that mechanism is but perhaps we can start to define it tonight.
