2. Yesterday in Indianapolis
Several Crystal Flash stations said they were "temporarily out of gas."

They said they had other priorities to make sure the contracts to city vehicles (school buses, police cars, fire trucks, etc.) were fulfilled. Haven't heard anything about that today, but I haven't been watching the local news.

3. It's normal out here on the Left Coast
We broke the $3.00 barrier today, and I think we know we have it easier than most for a change. No lines yet.

5. I paid more than three dollars to fill the Subie today
and didn't have to wait in line...but, there is going to be gas rationing down here now.

It's ridiculous.

4. Not here. Prices went down a little after AG Mike Cox threatened
investigations. No lines...in fact, it doesn't really look like Motown is buying much gas at all. :hi:

6. I live in Northeastern NC (the most northeastern county)

and the pumps have been closed. Apparently they will be opening them during the day for certain periods. I got word earlier that there will be no shipments of gas into the area until at least the middle of next week. How the tourists who are here are going to get home I don't have a clue.

My aunt lives in SC (just off of I 95) and she said stations there are rapidly running out of gas. Fuck Bush.

7. I hit three stations in Alexandria, VA yesterday
before setting for Supreme at $3.49, since it was the only gas left. It's 3.89 today.

I have never in my life, and I'm 30, seen more than one gas station closed for not having gas. strange.

8. Chicago, IL here: everything is fine, but a bit expensive
We are at $3.10 in the city (this morning) and $3.20 to $3.30 in the 'burbs I'm told. No lines, no stress (other than the high price)

9. No lines to speak of, but some pumps are closed
Several gas stations I went to today (out of curiosity) had a lot of the pumps bagged. Most of those open were regular unleaded. At about $2.75/gallon.

This is the Texas Hill Country.

11. I saw no lines today in northern NM
But regular gas is priced at $3.09. Nobody at the pumps is even talking about it any more. It is too damn serious. You can "see" steam coming out of people's ears as they watch the pump meter go up and up and up.

And you can blame George W. Bush and the Oil Republicans for this.
