Are Jeanne Meserve's reports from NO responsible for the sea change?
Some people at CNN almost sound like reporters. They ask questions, they even hint at the truth of the situation. Has the plutocracy's war against America finally gone too far? Reporters have kids they love and they can't be very happy about raising them in Bush America. Has this catastrophe and the way the Administration has casually put millions of Americans at risk opened their eyes? The mantra of the right for years has been, "We don't need no stinking government." Who, other than the diehard supporters of the plutocracy, can believe that now.

1. Martin Savidge acted like he was in a war zone.
I thought he was going to cry when he reported this morning that people were desperate for a drink of fresh water.

3. Now they need to generalize those feelings of horror and despair
to the innocent peoples whose daily lives our foreign policies have impacted in such a terrible way. Let's develop a little real compassion, folks.

2. Foxite Shepard Smith has also surprised me
He's been covering the people (500 of them) stranded on the piece of highway for 4 days.

Away fall the blinders ...

4. Every one who is getting to know the reality of the situation is being
converted into a Bush-Hater. The truth will come out more and more and America will turn against Bush so hard.

5. Her report that was posted on the internet had me in tears
I don't have cable TV, so I haven't seen much reporting from the gulf coast unless it's streaming over the net.

She really brought it home for me.
