5. Couple hours away.
WWLTV.com N.O. is reporting the re-stregnthening of the storm as the inner eye wall is collapsing and being replaced by a stronger, larger eyewall. Also it is possible according to their report at 9:30 that N.O. may take a direct hit, based on recent motions of the storm. There is a chance it will hook to the east of N.O.. The storm's eye is now within their 300 mile doppler radar.

7. Just east of New Orleans is a very bad scenario.
That maximizes the storm surge from Lake Pontchartrain.

6. its track takes it to go just east if not directly over downtown NO
its winds are 160 and will probably be that +- 15 mph at landfall.


pressure is 904mb (incredible)

its also 460miles in diameter
