Proof that animals are smarter than humans.
Edited on Sun Aug-28-05 08:20 PM by DanCa
Remember when the tsunami hit and all the animals left the area? Tweet was interviewing some red necks on msnbc right now who were staying despite the evac orders. This is the reason that they gave.
"Well the Tsunami is different because we have warning." Nature is smarter than people think

4. old Indian "stories"
I'm a writer and spent a good deal of time researching the history of a local mountain. There are "legends" that surround it that speak of a tremendous flood. In this story, it tells of how all of the animals ended up on the top of this mountain during the great flood that occurred. When? We don't know but I suspect maybe around 1500 or so (perhaps?).

Animals know when the shit is gonna hit the fan way in advance and they quickly disappear. I've noted this during the many earthquakes I've experienced as a native of California.

Never underestimate the power of nature nor animals. We have a lot to learn and in my opinion, we are the inferior species; native peoples excused.

5. Animals don't vote republican,
they never created cities, industrial accidents in developing nations, SUV's, or greenhouse gasses. They don't push creationism or try to take away the reproductive rights of half their species. They've never heard of segregation or apartheid. Also, they often eat their young. Sometimes this seems pretty smart to me. Such as bedtime or when asparagus is on the dinner plate.

7. Animals aren't smarter
but generations of our society using tools and machinery has dulled our animal instincts. The animals still remember that water rushing out is BAD, and surely have greater senses for things like that.

I'd like to see a chimp code a computer though, other than Microsoft of course. Then I'd say they're truly smarter!
