Recall Gov. Pataki?
Is it possible to do to George Pataki (NY) what is being done in CA to Gray Davis? Pataki's approval #'s dropped quite a bit since he was elected and many believe he lied about his accomplishments and budget during his recent campaign (not to mention the fact that he just plain sucks).

-----------

Gov. George Patak’s approval rating remains at its lowest point ever, according to a new poll. The latest Quinnipiac University poll shows that 45% of state voters disapprove of his performance as governor, while 43% approve. That is unchanged from an April poll, when the governor’s approval rating fell to its lowest level in more than seven years.
More voters registered disapproval in the latest poll with Mr. Pataki’s handling of the state budget, with 66% disagreeing with his methods and 26% agreeing. Two months ago, 63% disapproved of his handling of the budget, compared with 28% who approved.

1. I don't think NY has a "recall" option
Perhaps we would be better off organizing for McCall or Eliot Ness.

2. NY Dems need to wake up and vote next time
McCall shot himseld in the foot by appologizing to NY Post - everyone gave up then. I still do not think democracy is compatible with undoing of election (no matter which party got elected). I voted for McCall - but was yawning doing it.
