Are we between issues of "Vanity Fair"???
I'm waiting for the issue with the article about Sibel Edmonds (please tell me that it wasn't in the issue with Jennifer Aniston on the cover). I can't find a Vanity Fair anywhere in this town suddenly. I can't even find the one with Aniston. Did everyone snap that up to hear her dump on Brad? Is the issue with the Edmonds article in stores where you live?

2. It's the Aniston one
I just picked it up at the airport yesterday. I'll scan it in a few days, if there's enough interest.

articles. Don't hate on VF because they throw a little fluff in!

For $15 a year, you can subscribe. As a longtime subscriber, I cant tell you that I think it is totally worth it. Particularly when it will cost you $4 per otherwise.

5. I don't hate Vanity Fair for the fluff.
In fact, it annoys me that so many people think that that's all it is. I've had people turn their noses up when they see all the back issues in my bathroom.

7. Yes, it's in the Jennifer issue
(she didn't do any dumping, btw. I think it was the reverse)

There are also good pieces on "The Recruiter's War" and "All Roads Lead to Rove," all good articles strategically place--in the Jennifer issue.

The table of contents is on page 40, approximately.

The Martha Stewart issue has "To Live and Die in Iraq" and "How to get away with murder" (Tom Delay). Martha is looking good.

14. Thank you for that link
I haven't been able to find a copy at any of our local stores. I even looked at every store I stopped at yesterday during my 10 hour road trip to and from north Texas, still zip.

I'm glad to see that it wasn't just me. I've been going crazy trying to find this magazine. Anyway, I just printed out the article from Information Clearing House's site.

16. Every place I'd been to was sold out.
Actually, I did manage to find a copy this morning at the train station here. Everywhere else...nada.

12. It's on the shelves
Just got my copy this morning.

If you see it, grab it. Rumor is that GOP operatives are buying all the copies they find, possibly for a massive bonfire into which they'll toss the intelligence documents that would have discredited John Bolton.

(OK, I made that last part up...)

17. I lucked out...
...and found a copy this morning after I posted. I did, in fact, snatch it up as though GOP operatives would show up any minute to take the remaining copies.:)

19. I made sure I got an extra copy the first weekend it came out...
Edited on Wed Aug-24-05 04:09 PM by calipendence
But even that was difficult as I bought the last copy at two different Barnes and Nobles I went to.

I have an extra copy so that I can loan it out to friends, etc. to read and not jeopardize losing the only copy I have.
