Very, very sad. Sometimes being right (as most DUer's have been) is not fulfilling. I'll be glad when Bush is long gone, but I really am disappointed that it has come to all this. I hope the people learn a lesson, and I wish that no one else would be hurt due to greed and pride.

19. I don't get why...

if he went to school with her and they weren't allowed to know each other's name and he didn't realize it was her (they haven't shown her picture and often don't mention her name...I presume for security) until someone told him then how did Novak know her name...the maiden name she was using. It doesn't seem likely that the CIA would give that name if it isn't used among colleagues?.

Also, I wonder how this will effect security because it seems to me that even if no one dies there is still the problem of having someone with the same expertise and confidence trusted for so many years being "outed". It just seems likely that many that trusted her would be wary of exposing any information to someone new, especially in the present climate of wacky foreign policy. The area she was in (WMD) seems critical in light of the shifting power emphasis going on in the world now?.
...I was thinking of this because of post 8 ...
