Edited on Mon Aug-15-05 06:36 PM by NNN0LHI
Seven and a half gallons at $2.76 a gallon and it was over 20 dollars. How are people driving to work every day at these prices? I dare say that if there were a Dem in the White House right now the Republicans and the media would have everyone so mad about this that he or she would be dragged out onto Pennsylvania avenue and tarred and feathered over this.

3. Sunday, I drove back from the beach here in L.A. and NO TRAFFIC.
It was like half of the weekend drivers had parked their cars. I haven't seen freeways that free on weekends in a long, long time.

I hadn't thought about the lawnmower angle, but I know that filling up my tank is sobering.

Bush and the gang have really done a number on us all.
