We officially torture people now.
I've discovered that when I look at my flag waving in the breeze, I don't feel quite as proud as I used to. I resent that fact.

2. I like my Mardi Gras flag.
:)

The other one is now a symbol of death to me  ... I'm just catching up with my Native American sisters and brothers. They knew what it meant from the very beginning.

3. Know I know how Captain America
When the Avengers pulled him out of the ice berg. It's not my country, my religion, or my world any more.

4. Torture
Isn't this one of the main principles the Founding Fathers had in mind when they created this country?

Don't torture and a more perfect union go hand in hand?

I just wish our torture record was more prolific and could outclass Saddam and Idi Amin and all the other torture Super Stars of the last 25 years.

Part of being a World Leader is being the World Leader in Torture, one of the principles our country was founded upon!

5. just think of how much worse it would be....
if we sent all these detainees to regular US prisons instead of Guantanamo or Abu Ghraib.
