Don't let them scare you...
Don't let Cheney or anyone else for that matter scare you any more.

Think of your loved ones and how happy you are with them. I find this to be my most effective tool against despair and fright.

I know many of us were at least, very disappointed with the CAFTA vote, but Bush knew that it would demoralized us. Don't let it. We need to stay on our toes and keep fighting. While we have many issues within the party, outside the party we aren't fighting issues as much as we are fighting corruption and greed.

Keep it in mind.

1. I wasn't afraid of grown-ups when I was three and I haven't changed.
I may choose sometimes to keep quiet for a while, but I will defy what I think are inappropriate orders from anyone.

I needed it. This past 24 hrs. has been so deflating.

The passing of CAFTA really stung.

7. fear is fully justified; irrationality and paralysis are not
Fear is a fundamental and fully justified self-preservation instinct. Irrationality and paralysis are the problems.
