Xian Group: Ward Churchill Possessed by Demons
http://www.thedenverchannel.com/news/4746314/detail.html

BOULDER, Colo. -- Claiming Ward Churchill is possessed by demons, a Christian group diverted their protest to march near the University of Colorado professor's office.

"That's the power of Christ, to set the captive free from the lies and from those demons that are inhabiting Ward," the Rev. Flip Benham, of Concord, N.C., told more than 100 members of Operation Save America who traveled to Boulder Tuesday from the group's convention in Denver, according to the Rocky Mountain News.

They were in the college town to protest two clinics that perform abortions, but they turned their white and yellow church bus toward CU's Ketchum Building to make a call on the embattled ethnic studies professor.

"They're destroying him," Benham said of the demons. "His face twitches when he speaks because he knows he's been speaking a lie."

make a call on the embattled ethnic studies professor

I attended college and did the weird stuff but this is beyond odd. How is it that an ethnics studies professor is considered to be possessed by demons? Did he speak in tongues or have power over snakes? Did Bibles burst into flames when he passed them?

This is why I will never continue in psych (even if research jobs appeared) because I want to do research on how people interact with tech and other people with tech. Fundies at the gates would annoy me since they might get free access to my wireless router.

4. He said some pretty controversial stuff about 9/11
Also, he dislikes Bush. That settles it, he's a demon.

2. Too bad Reagan shut the mental health facilities...a few phony
christians here are desperately in need of psychiatric assistance. Do they notice that Bush is a compulsive liar?

3. This makes me think of the Bill Paxton/Matthew McConaughey
movie "Frailty." Except in the movie, when Bill and Matt started seeing demons, their "visits" were a little more than stopping by the office.
