Jon.. darling... you missed it.
"So do you think homosexuals should be discriminated against"?

Ass:"oh no..of course not".

Jon "Then you support homosexuals having the same rights as you and I"?

You should have let him squirm on that.

1. Amen-Stewart just let Santorum spew his BS. I hate that. It's
completely frustrating.

2. For the last damn time
Jon Stewart is no one's monkey except Comedy Central's.

If people laugh, his job is done.

If someone needs to be criticized, it's the corporate media.

5. I know. I saw the "My intro is puppets making crank calls,
if you want to take your cues on journalist integrity from commedy central..."

I get that. But after watching him wipe the floor with that Goldberg loser, I was expecting more :(

6. Like it or not, decorum prevented Stewart from doing him "Goldberg" style.
Santorum, at least for now, is a sitting US Senator.

Jon did a fine job.

8. Goldberg was icing.
Icing that no one expected in the first place.

Listen, if you want to see Jon kick someone's ass, watch him on a news program, one like Crossfire.

He's doing a damn fine job.

I must admit, I wouldn't complain if something like that were to happen!

3. As a homo...I was pleased with Jon!
Especially since it is a comedy show, I thought he exposed the asshole for what he is...a segregationist!

4. Yeah he was soft tonight.

The real clincher would have been "If you had to choose between these two things -- and don't try to skate here, I mean if you really had to choose between a girl being raised without loving parents, say in an orphanage, and a girl being raised by a lesbian couple, which would you consider better?"

(Using a freeper-psychologically optimal specific gender here intentionally.)

7. He let Santorum dig his own grave
I thought Jon did well. Subtle ridicule works better with a US Senator than browbeating.
