What will be the breaking of the prez and all his men?
What do you think , if anything, will be the fall of this administration?
Or do you think nothing will?

1. Daylight will be their downfall.
Not the crime, but concealing and conspiring to conceal the crime. Shining daylight on their crimes will be the best defense.

It brought one white house down, it will do it again. The real question is whether the Dems can remind people that this is not about politics, it's about the rule of law.

Rule of law!
Rule of law!
Rule of law!

Pound it into peoples heads and it'll stick.

8. Yes. The simple truth will kill them..
But, for reasons galore, their crimes are not easy to expose under the present circumstances.

14. The simple truth would set us free for probably at least a slim majority
of Americans would be troubled by what the truth, and nothing but the truth, would reveal.

2. The 2006 elections will be the beginning of the end...
...once we recapture both houses of Congress, and get the impeachment ball rolling, they'll be out by mid-2007.

3. This cabal will never leave office of their own volition
IMO, they not leave until we remove them physically. I know this sounds crazy, but I think they have no intention of vacating, the office will stay safely in * family control by any means necessary.

Hopefully, I am just overly depressed by the events perpetrated in and on this Nation. I just can't stop seeing how truly bleak the future looks for us, our children and our grandchildren.

5. I thought Nixon would post the 101st Airborne around the White
House and refuse to leave. I was wrong then, I hope I am wrong again. I truly don't think American officers would order American troops to defy Congress to save * after he has fucked them over so badly.

21. I agree with you, Acmejack,
they will stay there until extreme force is used. These sh!tbags will stop at nothing.

I was a young adult during Watergate, and could scarcely believe the depths to which people could sink at that time. Now, as many others besides me have said, these guys are just the lowest and meanest of the lowest and meanest.

4. Economic collapse, virulent pandemic or disastrous war
take your pick.

Hell, the Republicans may even hit the trifecta (and that may be what it takes).

I'll say one thing- it will certainly NOT be because of anything the Dems do....

20. A Bush statement re: destroying the budget surplus- and
In horse racing, a trifecta is a particular type of bet that is very difficult to win, but it yields very high returns. To successfully win a trifecta bet, you need to specify the horses that finish in the top three spots in the exact order in which they finish.

7. It will be a culmination of all the scandals. But I must say that all
this talk of Nuking This, Nuking That, has some of the moderate Republicans down here frightened. I get the sense that they believe, on some level, that GWB is mad enough to push the button.

Of course, I point out to them that the Sky Taxi people like Falwell, Robertson, Dobson, et. al., are pushing for it to bring the end of times.

Surprising how many have never heard of the Sky Taxi. I am new to the concept myself and am still trying to get a hold on it. Is it true that only 144,000 white people will be taken up in the Sky Taxi?

11. Uhhhh, he (Jesus) may only want people who resemble
himself..... yeah right..... lol...

http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/magazine/3958241.stm

Jesus has been named the top black icon by the New Nation newspaper. Their assertion that Jesus was black has raised eyebrows in some quarters - so what colour was he?
Just as no one will ever produce proof for the existence of God, the question of Jesus's colour may always be a matter for personal belief.

Was he white, white-ish, olive-skinned, swarthy, dark-skinned or black? There are people who believe he was any one of those shades, but there seem to be only two things about the debate that can be said with any degree of certainty.

First - if the past 2,000 years of Western art were the judge, Jesus would be white, handsome, probably with long hair and an ethereal glow.

Second - it can almost certainly be said that Jesus would not have been white. His hair was also probably cut short.

9. Nothing is a given, look at Reagan
He was caught red handed committing treason, finished out his terms, and is now a hero. He ran the crookedest administration ever--more investigations, indictments and convictions of his administration officials than any other president. And the media was not quite as conservative then as now.

I hope Bush is held accountable. Sadly, there have been atrocious presidents before who have survived, and are now remembered fondly. Andrew Jackson, Reagan, McKinley. Some would argue Woodrow Wilson.

16. I'm curious about something
What will happen when bush and his partners in crime get all their plans moving but the debt is so high that China pretty muchs owns us? Is it not possible that all this termoil and loss of life in Iraq might result in China eventually controlling the middle east? These people are very rich, but would their monies be enough to pay off the debt if other nations start to demand repayment?

19. it already has
The Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) is buddy-buddy with Iran, and Iraq is running directly into their arms. The Iranian Oil Bourse is scheduled to commence trading Iranian oil in Euros early in 2006, and Iraq will probably send its officially-traded oil through there barring further military intervention.

18. they won't be broken
They'll simply be "fired" by their corporate sponsors on the Council on Foreign Relations and other committees/thinktanks. They failed to get oil flowing through either Iraq or Afghanistan. About the only actual accomplishment was reestablishing the opium trade out of Afghanistan.

The ones not so old and decrepit as to drop dead will resurface after a token Democratic administration or two. Of course, none of the regressive measures or police state shenanigans will be undone in the interim.

That is, barring the onsets of major crises, which do look like they're going to happen, and also look like no one's ready for them anywhere in the world. Like oil running out, climatological disaster, global freshwater shortages, global economic collapse, etc.
