My minor viewing of Roberts coverage last night
Why it pissed me off beyond belief.

"He's a nice guy" "He's well liked" Some of this coming from a clip on The Daily Show with that supposed Dem..Susan what's her name from FOX.

"He has a nice family..never ruffled any feathers."

The absoulute banality of evil is in our mists. Not that he's evil per se of course..but YOUR LIFE'S WORK, what you put your energy into-as Skinner pointed out-it's not that it's wrong of course, to argue for one's client-but if that is what you spend your energy, time, life's work doing-arguing against Roe V. Wade and arguing AGAINST the Geneva conventions what does that say about your beliefs and values??

I don't care how pretty..likeable..nice someone is..I CARE about what he has actually done..where he stands..what he believes. And if the Democrats that represent me don't get that then they understand NOTHING.

1. I've heard that the "one to whom we cannot make comparisons"
who used to be the dictator of Germany, loved children (as long as they were blond enough) and dogs, as did most in his administration. There's nothing especially noble about loving your family and being a nice guy.

Not saying that Roberts is like "he who shall not be named" ... just commenting.

2. But this morning, Jerry Springer ...
was back on Rove 24/7 -- Plamegate has not been forgotten.
