Anyone look at the Washington post today?
There is a nice big story about Oily Dick cheney's ties to Halliburton and a the Congressional investigation which called it a major conflict of interest.

Expect Cheney to resign, with an excuse of heart trouble. He is going to be sacrifical lamb. the Bush Admin can not handle scandles this big right now, with their poll numbers plummeting.

2. Poor Dick
He'll have to slither back to his multimillion dollar estate in Jackson Hole Wyoming and count his millions.

11. I doubt that . . .
he's is such a greedy slime, he probably set this all up with the contracts that when he leaves the government, he will collect even more money from these companies by becoming a "consultant"

that snake!!

4. A nice big story is one thing ...
taking action about it is quite another. Let's hope this gets some REAL airplay.

7. Gotta love this line in the story
"In the past, White House officials have considered him a reassuring figure for viewers and voters."

8. that line
is the sound of the media cowering timidly behind a public opinion it created. Heard the NPR spin during another lopsided Conservative debate where the troll hid behind the people not caring about Cheney and none of this has disturbed their trust in him. That all of this was know before and this won't change anything.

Translation: So he committed treason, whaddya goin' to do about it? Nuffin.

12. You mean the war really was about oil?
First, I don't know if they'll get rid of Cheney or not, or, if they do, with whom they'll replace him. Because . . . I'm not sure in the end exactly who and what is behind the curtain of this Regime. IS he expendable? In whose interest? The top doesn't get sacrificed.

Second, fuck Cheney. I want that smirking chimp out. . . and his entire greedy insane cohort.

60 Minutes discovered Cheney's links to Halliburton over the weekend. Nice going, idiots. I used to love that show.

16. The story was about a Congressional Investigation
Everyone knew about the Halliburton ties--but a Congressional Investigation determined his ties constitute a gross conflict of interest.
