Looks like the police are following some leads in London bombing case
Bomb probe troops blast into home
Ban lifted on U.S. airmen visiting London

LONDON, England (CNN) -- Troops and police investigating last week's terrorist attacks in London have carried out a controlled explosion to gain access to a house in northern England, police said.

Five hundred people were evacuated from the area of Leeds, in West Yorkshire, and streets cordoned off, officers said. Earlier Tuesday, police searched five other residences in the city. No arrests have been announced.

The raids were the first in the nationwide investigation of last Thursday's bombings that killed at least 52 people on three London underground trains and a bus.

Police said troops had carried out a controlled explosion so police could enter a home in the Burley area of Leeds to search for explosives. The house was unoccupied.

Interesting. Neither 10 Downing Street, London nor 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue, Washington D.C. were raided...

Of course, since it's police and police are a part of the government, the fact that they conducted a raid and it wasn't on 10 Downing Street PROVES Blair was in on it.

2. Still no comments from the tinfoil hatters?
Rumor has it, there have been arrests in this case, but there's no cinfirmation for that, so I guess it could still be Blair.
